Biography

Anton Lyubimkin (1987) is a senior architect specializing in architectural reconstruction and modernism. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Architect at OOO Architecture and Cultural Policy PNKB in Moscow.

Anton Lyubimkin was born in Sverdlovsk, USSR, in 1987. He studied architecture at MARKHI in Moscow from 2003 to 2009 and at ENSA d’Architecture de Marseille from 2008 to 2009. Since 2006, he has been involved in the project “The reconstruction of the Church in the Colonia Güell” at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, where he contributed analytical drawings and a 3D model of the church. In 2012, he began participating in the international D-A-CH project “Construction knowledge of early modernism – Shukhov’s strategies for economical steel structures.” Anton has been a member of the Union of Architects of Russia since 2012 and is a prize-holder and participant in various Russian and international architecture competitions. He is currently preparing a dissertation entitled “Irregular geometry brick implementation of Colonia Güell church hanging model by A. Gaudí.”
